portablectl
I. Description
The portablectl program is part of the systemd suite. The primary function of portablectl is to manipulate portable service images. Portable service images generally consist of files in a file system hierarchy, and systemd unit files. These are called 'service images'; service images may be attached to a host computer and they may provide or run services for the host computer to which they are attached.
Portable service images exist so that you may bundle multiple related services together and easily attach them to a computer/virtual machine.
